The Bridesmaids
Whitney will have five bridesmaids for the wedding: Danielle "Dina" Schwartz (Matron of Honor), Heather Emaus, Randa Osman, Brook Skupinski, and Genna Baker.  The Flower Girl will be Beth Whitney MacKenzie. See below for more information on each of the bridesmaids.

Matron of Honor - Danielle "Dina" Schwartz

Dina and Whitney met in 7th grade math class with Mr. Hollis.  They should have known that they would love being best friends ever since as Mr. Hollis' favorite saying was "math equals love."  Last year, Dina married Austin Schwartz at a beautiful beach wedding in New Jersey.  Currently, they both  live in Texas.  Austin grew-up in Vernon, New Jersey which is only 30minutes from Chip's family. Dina and Whitney look forward to living near each other in New Jersey when the four of them retire.


Bridesmaid - Heather "Karj" Emaus

Heather "Karj" and Whitney met their first year in highschool where they were on the Varsity swim team together.  At first, Heather thought Whitney was a little weird, but Whitney persisted and they soon became best friends.  Throughout the years, Heather is the one Whitney would turn to for advice. She is like the angel sitting on your shoulder with the advice you know you should take: reasonable, logical, and the side that Whitney always tries to corrupt! lol! ;) In 2012, Heather married Pat Emaus in Sonoma, CA, at a beautiful wedding looking over the bay where Whitney was a bridesmaid.  Heather is now living in California with Pat and have one daughter, Amilia Emaus, with another on the way (due April!!).


Bridesmaid - Randa Osman

Randa Osman is Dina Schwartz's sister. Whitney and Randa first met at Dina's parents house around 15yrs ago. There are many times when Whitney and Randa think that they should have been sisters instead of Randa and Dina... but, oh well. Randa is currently living and going to school for her Masters Degree in Colorado. She recently returned from a summer in Portugal.

Bridesmaid - Brook Skupinski

Brook is Whitney's cousin. She is the daughter of Whitney's Dad's youngest brother, Paul Skupinski.  Whitney's Dad & Paul are best friends.  Brook and Whitney look forward to the day when their fathers move in with each other an live happily ever after.  Currently, Brook is going to school for Dietetics and is living in Michigan.

Bridesmaid - Genna Baker

Whitney met Genna through Chip.  When Chip lived with Chris at Lehigh University, Genna was like their third roommate.  Chris and Genna came to visit Chip and Whitney in Michigan and they have all been great friends ever since.  However, Whitney is still undecided as to whether or not to thank Genna for cutting off Chip's long "Thor-like" locks of hair in 2011, just before they met. Genna is currently living in Madison, Wisconsin with her boyfriend Chris (one of Chip's Groomsmen). She is an artist and licensed stylist.

Flower Girl - Beth Whitney MacKenzie

Beth Whitney MacKenzie is probably more excited about her wedding duties than anyone else on this whole page!  She is the daughter of Whitney's cousin Jimmy and his wife Sarah MacKenzie.  They live in Columbus, Ohio, the home of The Ohio State University, where Sterling attended undergraduate school.  They were like Sterling's second family during that time.  According to Whitney, Jimmy is the cool older cousin, and now with Sarah the kids, they bring the whole party with them wherever they go.  Whitney and Chip cannot wait for them to bring the party to New Jersey!

The Groomsmen
There will be six groomsmen in the wedding: Brian Thornburg (Best Man), Jon Longley, John Roberts, Owen Finnegan, Chris Keturakis, and Sterling Field.  See below for more information on each of the groomsmen.

Best Man - Brian Thornburg

Chip met Brian on day number one as a walk-on thrower for Notre Dame Track & Field. We do not know what Brian saw in Chip, but on that day, Jedi Master Brian decided to take Chip on as his Padawan. Brian taught Chip all the ways of the Force and he is forever grateful. Chip and Brian were inseparable on campus: Friday afternoon practices, sneaking into the Pep Rally, dorm parties, Rally in the Alley... it goes on and on. Brian is originally from Titusville, Florida and he currently lives in Westfield, Indiana, where he is a Regional Sales Director with Pathgroup.  He and his wife Kaley have three boys and they are like family to Chip. Chip loves his latest alias: "Uncle Chip". Uncle Chip enjoys playing the electric guitar to incite a mosh pit amongst Brian's impressionable boys.

Groomsman - Jonathan Longley

Where to begin? Perhaps with some famous last words: "Roberts! Come join me at Casa for a cheeky pint!" Chip could have said, "No," but he didn't, and that was one of his life's better decisions. Chip and Jon met at Lehigh University where they attended graduate school in Chemical Engineering. Jon's mother-in-law Heather once told them that she believed Chip and Jon were not only friends in this life, but also in a previous life during a medieval time. They like to believe they have kept that legacy alive and well.  Jon hails from Worcester, England and speaks an extraordinarily eloquent version of the Queen's English.  He currently lives with his wife Gillian in Portland, Oregon, where he works for Intel.

Groomsman - John Roberts

Many may wonder why Chip's only sibling is not the Best Man. Well, to be honest, the jury is still out on whether or not John actually has anything nice to say about his favorite (and only) brother. If you see John at the wedding, he has promised to bring his soapbox and give impromptu speeches on all Chip's finest qualities. Kidding aside, Chip and John have more in common than they would ever admit and have become great friends. John is Chip's constant source for all things geek: Marvel, video games, Star Wars, etc. When Whitney doesn't believe Chip's version of Thor's backstory, she makes him call John. John currently lives in South Jordan, Utah, where he is a Regulatory Affairs Manager for Becton, Dickinson and Company.

Groomsman - Owen Finnegan

Once, while they were at Lehigh University, Owen did a workout that involved carrying Chip on his back while running around, or as close to running around as one can muster with a nearly 300 lb man on one's back. But that's Owen, two workouts a day whether he needs them or not and constantly doing his best to get Chip to come along. Owen is the kind of friend every dude should have: Marine, scholar, athlete, wingman, tall, good jaw structure... a self-anointed Renaissance Man. His only character flaw is his hatred of Chip's love for the video game Guitar Hero. Owen is originally from Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where his parents host epic St. Patrick's Day parties and where Chip can be found moonlighting as a professional karaoke singer. Owen is currently a Commercial Banking Analyst for Capital One living in Washington, D.C.

Groomsman - Christopher Keturakis

Did you know that between 2005 and 2011, Lehigh University played host to not just one long-haired, heavy-metal-loving, anime-crazed, video-game-obsessed, guitar-playing chemical engineer; but two of them?!? Well, it is a true story, and one that surprised even Chip. It took them a couple of years to find each other, but they did. Chris was even in the same graduate research group as Chip, so they decided they might as well live together... and Chris even played Guitar Hero with Chip! Chip left Lehigh before Chris to go do research on automotive catalytic converters at Toyota in the Midwest.  A few years later, Chris left Lehigh to go do research on automotive catalytic converters at Cummins, also in the Midwest. The similarities are endless and they simply cannot and will not ever be rid of one another. Chris was born in Kentucky and lived in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. He is currently a Senior Chemical Engineer at Cummins Emission Solutions, Inc. living in Madison, Wisconsin with his girlfriend Genna (one of Whitney's Bridesmaids).

Groomsman & Ring-bearer - Sterling Field

Sterling is seven years Whitney's younger brother, so it took some time before he could walk, stop crying all the time, and actually be useful as a sibling. But once that happened, they became best of friends (or at least that's the abridged version). Now, there is nothing Whitney loves more than to spend time with the two favorite boys in her life: Sterling and Chip. Chip has come to appreciate that time as well, and he and Sterling quickly bonded over an appreciation for the science of Mixology, especially concocting traditional cocktails with a botanical emphasis. "The Doctor" and "The Drunken Botanist" - what a pair! Sterling has always had a love of plants, which inspired him to obtain his Master's degree in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from Eastern Carolina University. Currently he is attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cellular & Molecular Biology.
